D M Pest Control is a pest control business in Shrewsbury run by Dave McCoy. The business removes rodents, wasps, hornets, squirrels, rabbits and moles from homes, gardens, shops, restaurants and farm buildings. Dave is trained to British Pest Control Association standards and specialises in humane trapping methods that are child and pet safe.

For residential rodent control, Dave removes rats and mice from roof spaces, wall cavities and chicken pens using traps rather than poisons. Trapped rodents are taken away, preventing decomposition and odours in inaccessible places. The business also removes wasp and hornet nests from homes and businesses. Commercial customers receive regular rodent prevention treatments and feral pigeon control for factories, warehouses and farm buildings.

Dave covers Shrewsbury and the surrounding area. He offers education and advice to help reduce the likelihood of repeat pest problems. The business avoids rodenticides because of the risk of secondary poisoning to birds of prey, owls, kestrels and other wildlife. Dave is an avid birdwatcher, angler and falconer with a long-standing interest in wildlife.
