Isles of Scilly council pest control

There is no council service to book. A private pest controller is the route for every pest.

• Notes: Council does not run a treatment service: Environmental Health gives telephone/visit advice on rats and mice, pest identification and acts where infestations affect neighbouring homes (Prevention of Damage by Pests Act 1949). No fees published. Contact environmentalhealth@scilly.gov.uk.

Status: No service. Fees as published, read on the council's own fees page, checked 2026-10-02.

Private firms usually come sooner, treat more pests and give a guarantee. Here is what each service involves and costs.

• Rat control
• Mouse control
• Wasp nest removal
• Bed bug treatment
• Flea treatment
