Orkney council pest control

There is no council service to book. A private pest controller is the route for every pest.

• Notes: Council page states 'We do not provide a pest control service. For treatments and advice, please contact a commercial pest control company operating in Orkney.' No pest identification service either.

Status: No service. Fees as published, read on the council's own fees page, checked 2026-10-02.

Private firms usually come sooner, treat more pests and give a guarantee. Here is what each service involves and costs.

• Rat control
• Mouse control
• Wasp nest removal
• Bed bug treatment
• Flea treatment
• Cockroach control
